Castor Oil Pack Instructions for Enhanced Fertility

Castor oil packs are a staple in natural fertility enhancement. They were recommended by Edgar Cayce for healing many ailments. For enhanced fertility, the pack can be placed over the uterus or over the liver. It helps prevent and heal endometriosis, fibroids, polyps, cysts, balance hormones and enhance fertility.
Supplies needed 
  1. Castor Oil
  2. 1 Wool Flannel
  3. 1 Hot Water Bottle or an electric heat pad
  4. 2 Towels - Make sure to use the oldest towels you own, because you won’t be able to wash the castor oil stains off of them. Don’t bother trying to wash them either. 
  5. 2 pillows
  6. 2 large trash bags. 
  7. I added amazon links for some of the supplies at the end of this blog.
Warning: castor oil is thick and stains cloths. It's not cant be washed off.

​When to do castor oil packs
  1. can be done daily with the exceptions listed above
  2. Can be done every other day, one week before your period,
  3. when you are trying to get pregnant, you can start them from the time your period ends and stop them after you try to get pregnant. 
Do not do a castor oil pack when
  1. You are menstruating
  2. You are pregnant
  3. You might be pregnant. 

Benefits:
  1. Cleanses uterine lining, draws out toxins.​
  2. Helps prevent/slow/ stop growth of polyps, fibroids, cysts
  3. Cleanses intestinal lining, draws out toxins, kills parasites
  4. Softens scar tissue from C-Section and other abdominal surgeries
  5. Boosts immune system, helps swollen lymph nodes​
  6. Relaxes nervous system.
  7. detoxes the liver which helps balance hormones and the liver detoxes your body
 SETTING UP THE CASTOR OIL PACKS
​
  1. Choose a location you will be laying down. Your bed, couch or yoga mat. 
  2. To protect your furniture , place one trash bag where you will be laying down. Place a little higher than your bra strap at the top and your tailbone at the bottom. Place one towel over that trash bag. 
  3. Use the second trash bag to prepare your wool flannel. Open the trash bag to the size that you need, which is enough to cover the sides of your bellow and from below the bra strap to bikini line. Place the trash bag on a kitchen counter and place the flannel in the center.

  5. Slowly pour a thin stream of castor oil onto wool flannel in either horizontal or vertical rows , until flannel is covered in castor oil. Fold the flannel in half and press the flannel onto the oil. Add more castor oil in the same way, either horizontal or vertical rows. Then fold the flannel again and press it to spread the oil. The flannel should be saturated in oil but not dripping. Squeeze out any excess/ dripping into your sink. Now fold the trash bag over the flannel and put your hot water bottle (filled with hot water) or heating pad over that to warm it up. 
  6. Lay down in the area you set up and place a pillow under your knees and another under your head. Place soaked flannel over your entire abdomen. Keep the second trash bag over the flannel to trap the heat and you can place the hot water bottle or heat pad over that. Place towel #2 over everything and tuck under you to trap heat.
  7. Remove everything after 45 minutes. Store flannel in a glass jar and in the fridge and reuse up to one year. ​

Cayenne Pepper Benefits for Women

Years ago, I learned that cayenne pepper can stop a deep cut from bleeding. A few years ago, I listened to Dr Jennifer Daniels tell a story of a patient who was headed to the ER because her menstrual bleeding was so heavy. She told her patient to tale 2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper and it quickly stopped her heavy bleeding. (some women can literally bleed to death with their menstruation). I started doing more reading on cayenne pepper (CP)after this story. I learned CP strengthens arteries and veins ( so great for women with adenomyosis), breaks up clots ( a major cause of painful cramping), warms blood and improves circulation and digestion( so great for hormone balancing, migraines/ headaches, bloating, cold uterus, cold feet), and the fact that it stops heavy bleeding should help anyone with fibroids, endometriosis and adenomyosis. Warning: if you take this in an empty stomach, you will feel the burn in 10 minutes. It’s best taken with a meal, not before or after (I’ve tried all 3 ways). Pelvic Alignment 

In my training with Dr Arvigo, in 2008, she taught us that it’s not just about aligning the uterus. It’s important to align the pelvis as well. The training included a great naprapathic technique to correct anterior or posterior tilts in the pelvis. I tend to have one hip in posterior and the other in anterior, and so do most of my clients. It’s a major contributor to back pain, scoliosis and decreases energy flow. I use sacral blocks on the massage table and can give clients to do this on their own. In the pic with green sacral blocks the hips look more even than they do in the pic without. It feels like a really relaxing stretch in the hips especially the sacrum. ❤️

Abdominal Cupping

In addition to teaching clients how to massage their abdomen with their hands, I teach how to do self massage with silicone cups. They can be used to release muscular and fasciae tension, improve digestion, circulation (blood and lymph), and align the uterus.

A Tilted or Prolapsed Uterus can Ruin Sex


You may have a tilted and/ or prolapsed uterus if, you find yourself wondering why people like sex so much.
  • You would rather sleep, relax, get a massage, eat, etc.
  • sex feels like work, you’re lazy about having sex, you have a low sex drive
  • sex hurts in certain positions, upon entry, thrusting hurts, it feels like something inside you is getting hit
  • you can’t reach orgasm easily or at all, especially with intercourse
  • You feel like you’re getting hit in your rectum when you’re having vaginal intercourse
  • You get bladder infections after sex
  • You have incontinence, leak urine
  • You need mental focus and lots of internal talk during sex
When your uterus is in its proper place, sex can become much more pleasurable, effortless and instinctual. It will be life changing and may possibly save your marriage, if the lack of good sex is causing unhappiness in your partner.


What can cause your uterus to tilt or prolapse?
  • Hard falls to your tailbone
  • Running or jumping activities
  • Gymnastics
  • Heavy weight lifting
  • Car accidents
  • falls on hard surfaces ( snowboarding, ice skating, rollerblading, etc)
  • giving birth
  • sexual abuse
You don’t have to stop participating in sports/ exercise. What you can do is learn to
  • identify if you are tilted or prolapsed, correct the problem on your own with the techniques I teach you. If you can’t correct it on your own, come in for a massage ASAP.
  • Take extra precautions during certain times of your monthly cycle and 2 years postpartum
  • Include uterus alignment and massage as part of your cool down after every workout
Caution: never massage your uterus if you are bleeding/ menstruating, have an IUD, or an infection

Improving your Posture



Good Posture Cannot be Forced or Faked
If you do force it, chances are your muscles will tire and or you will be in more pain.


Truly Improving your posture is a two part process that includes core strength and alignment of your entire body: feet, knees, hips, rib cage, neck, head, shoulders and arm.


Good posture keeps your muscles, joints and organs working optimally without straining them. It creates a youthful, leaner more attractive appearance and makes you taller, stronger and healthier.


Strength and flexibility training, when done properly, improve posture, and although yoga and Pilates do specifically train posture, doing these exercises in large groups doesn’t give you specific corrections your individual body needs.


I help clients improve their posture with both massage and exercise. I can do detailed massage work and find imbalances that need to be corrected. Overly tense muscles will be relaxed and made more flexible, which will relieve chronic pain.


I can spend the last 5 minutes of a massage session giving you exercise homework to strengthen opposing weak areas, and this will create lasting results. You can also choose to do a 30 minute exercise session. These exercises are relaxing and as you improve, you can include the concepts into more strenuous workouts.
